About Fibs
Fibs is a puzzle game on Playket: every villager shows a number and liars are always off by exactly one. Unmask them board after board as the village grows. It is free to play instantly in your browser — no download and no sign-up — on phone, tablet and desktop.
How to play
Each tile is honest or a liar. Its number counts the liars among its up to 8 neighbours; an honest tile shows the true count and a liar is off by exactly 1. Pick Honest or Liar (or keys 1 and 2), then tap a tile (or move with the arrow keys and press Space) to label it. Calls are permanent and a wrong one costs a heart. Look (key 3) outlines a tile's neighbours, and Hint (H) shows the next safe deduction. The run is endless: boards grow from 5×5 to 8×8 and score more as you go, every third board with no slips wins back a heart, and the run ends when your 3 hearts are gone.
Tips
- An honest 0 means none of its neighbours lie, so it clears every tile around it.
- A number bigger than a tile's neighbour count, like a 4 in a corner, is always a lie.
- Solve three boards without a slip to win back a lost heart; use a hint rather than guess.
